The IC697CPM924 module is a GE Fanuc CPU module which is compatible with the GE Series 90-70 programmable logic controller systems. The IC697CPM924 module is a 32-bit CPU with a microprocessor clocked at 64 megahertz. In addition to fixed point operation, the CPU also supports floating point operation. A total of 1 megabyte of RAM is available on the CPU module. A replaceable lithium battery provides backup power to the RAM in case of mains power failure. The rated shelf life of the lithium battery is 10 years at 68 degrees Fahrenheit ambient temperature.
