RS-232/RS-422 Converter box CCM590 GE Fanuc Series Five

The IC655CCM590 converter is an RS-232/ RS-422 converter manufactured by GE Fanuc. This converter unit is used with the GE Series 5 PLC system. This power converter comes with a 1-Amp fuse that can be accessed from the front side. The fuse can be easily installed and replaced when needed. This industrial converter unit has a small form factor and it can be easily mounted by using the straps on the back of the unit. The IC655CCM590 converter has an LED indicator that indicates the flow of power in the converter. The converter can easily power an RS-422 multidrop network without using a converter box. The operating temperature range should be set between 0 and 60 degrees Celsius for normal operation. The humidity should be in the range of 0 to 95% with no condensation. The converter meets the NEMA ICS3-304 noise immunity standard and it has an impulse rating of 1000 Volts with a 1-millisecond pulse.
