High Speed Counter APU510 GE Series Five

The IC655APU510 counter is a GE-manufactured high-speed counter. It is used with the GE Series Five PLC system. The I/O module is powered with 5 Volts DC from the power supply that is located on the base unit. This counter module has a maximum current rating of 100 milliamps. The modules are connected to the backplane by using a connector that is mounted on the base unit. The front section of the high-speed counter has LED indicators to show the status of I/O points. These 32-point counter modules are divided into groups of 4. A hinged door is present on the front side of IC655APU510 counter. The D-type connectors on the front panel can be also used for connecting input devices. A toggle switch is present on the module that lets the operators choose the group of I/O inputs that can be monitored by the status indicators.
