Series 6 PS/2 Workmaster Interface Module WMI620 Module Board

The GE Fanuc IC647WMI620 interface is a Series Six Workstation interface (WS6Al). It is a high-performance programmer interface that offers a parallel interface to the Series Six family of PLCs. It is made to be connected to the PS/2 computer or Workmaster II computer. The module serves as a parallel interface from the PS/2 or Workmaster II computer to either Series Six PLCs. It is connected to the Series Six PLC via the top connector on the I/O control module in the advanced I/O receiver or CPU rack or I/O receiver. The IC647WMI620 Workstation interface module takes 1 to 2 seconds to store the 8k-word programs. The maximum cable length for the parallel interface cable assembly is 50 feet. The module has a parallel interface specification data rate at 500 KB per second. The Workstation interface module is located in an IBM Personal System or a Workmaster computer.
