Workstation Interface Board WMI610 GE Series Six Module Board PLC

The IC640WMI610 interface board is an Emerson/GE Fanuc Series Six Interface Board for Workstation computers. It offers high-speed parallel communication between a Series Six PLC and Workstation industrial computer. The interface board has all the circuitry required to transfer and format data between the Series Six PLC’s central processing unit or CPU and the Workstation computer. It has no PROM or non-volatile memory functions. The on-board RAM that it has is used for loading the programs. The IC640WMI610 interface board has no jumpers or operator controls of its own. Every interface to the board works through software. The parallel nature of the interface board allows for the display of real-time updates for the Series Six PLC’s status.
