48Vdc Source Output Module (8 points) Series Six Module Without Face Plate

The GE Fanuc IC600YB909 module is a 48 Volts DC source output module that is designed and manufactured as an accessory for GESeries 6 Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) systems. This solid-state, microprocessor-based electronic module provides 8 independent discrete output points and it can be installed directly in a PLC backplane or a GE Model 60 CPU slot, enabling the GE Series 6 programmable logic controller to manipulate external field devices. In contrast with a sink output module, the GE Fanuc IC600YB909 48 Volts DC source output module provides a positive terminal connection to external field device circuits that should be connected to the negative terminal or ground at the ends. The switching device used in each of the 8 independent outputs is a Darlington amplifier. Some of the applications for this source output module are high-speed switching solenoid valves, annunciators, indicators, or relays.
