The IC600YB827 High-Speed Counter Module is an intelligent I/O module designed by GE Fanuc. It can be installed in any I/O slot in a Model 60 CPU or I/O rack. If the frequency of the incoming pulses is too high to be detected by the CPU, this module can be used in a range of position control or velocity measurement applications. The IC600YB827 High-Speed Counter Module is a microprocessor-based counter module that can efficiently receive pulses from encoders and digital tachometers. This device is capable of providing high-speed pulse input, controlling multiple field devices, and maintaining an accurate position count to control the connected loads and devices.
