This ENIU kit comprises the IC695NIU001 Network Interface Unit and the IC695ETM001 Ethernet Module. The GE Fanuc IC695NKT001 Ethernet Network Interface Unit has 2 serial ports for communication and a local logic with a capacity of 20 KB. This unit needs to be installed in the GE IC695CHSxxx base. Generally, the ENIU kits in the RX3i series support a wide range of expansion options for both remote and local I/O, thus helping to optimize the configuration process. The whole GE Fanuc RX3i PacSystems PLC system can also be extended or expanded with 8 expansion bases through the use of the local remote expansion unit.
