The GE Fanuc IC693PCM311 Programmable Coprocessor Module (PCM) adds 2 serial connection ports and a total of 640K of memory to the factory settings of a GE Fanuc Series 90-30 PLC.

The IC693PCM311 PCM which is an additional serial communication card for the GE Fanuc Series 90-30 PLCs enables the users to connect peripheral devices such as industrial printers, barcode readers, personal computers or programming interfaces to the PLC. It is designed with a total available memory capacity of 640K and a dedicated MegaBasic memory capacity of 190K. On the front of the IC693PCM311 Programmable Coprocessor Module Card's faceplate, there are 3 LEDs. One of them shows the working status of the module (on or off), and the other 2 show the status of each of the ports, but they can be configured by the users to indicate another variables as well. Both the MegaBasic and the C programming languages are supported by the PCM.
