The GE Fanuc IC693PBS201 Profibus DP Slave Module Card is used for adding a secondary PLC to a PROFIBUS DP network that will serve as a slave processor.

The GE Fanuc IC693PBS201 Profibus DP Slave Module Card allows for the connection of a GE Fanuc Series 90-30 Programmable Logic Controller into a PROFIBUS DP network as a slave device, that is, a secondary PLC that sends and receives data from the network’s master PLC to expand the processing power of the system as a whole. Like most of the GE Fanuc 90-30 series accessory cards, the IC693PBS201 Profibus DP Slave Module Card can be installed in any of the GE Fanuc Series 90-30 baseplate slots, except for the first one that is reserved for power supply installation.
