The IC693CMM301 Genius Communications Module from GE Fanuc Series 90-30 can exchange up to 256 bits of global data with computers, handheld programmers, GE Series 90-30 PLCs, and GE Series 90-70 PLCs.

The GE Fanuc IC693CMM301 module is a Series 90-30 Genius Communications Module. This module is made to communicate automatically. It makes “global data” communications possible between a GE Fanuc Series 90-30 PLC and as many as 7 additional devices with a Genius bus. Global data communications are communications that involve data which is transmitted repeatedly and automatically and which can be received by multiple devices with a shared database. Some of the devices that the IC693CMM301 Genius Communications Module can provide global data to include GE Series 90-30 PLCs, GE Series 90-70 PLCs, a computer that is used for programming and configuration applications, and another computer with a PCIM card that is used for data monitoring applications.
