The GE Fanuc IC693CBL316 Serial Interface Cable is a serial cable assembly designed to interconnect CPU modules and digital servo modules with RJ-11 communications ports to a PC serial port. All the CPU firmware upgrades and programmed applications are downloaded to Port 1 of these modules from the Loader software on the PC by using the IC693CBL316 Serial Cable. The IC693CBL316 Serial Cable is also called a “Station Manager Cable” because it can be used to connect Ethernet supported terminals or terminal emulators with Station Manager RS-232 ports for quick access to the Station Manager software over the high-speed Ethernet network without a converter.
