The GE Fanuc IC600BF805 AC/DC input module has an input voltage of 230 Volts AC/DC. It is a Series Six module with 8 input points and a faceplate and a circuit board that combine to form a complete module assembly. The module is mounted in the I/O rack or I/O rack section of the CPU in a PLC. The I/O rack offers backplane signals and regulated DC power from the power supply and it comes in 3 versions, including high-capacity DC power, high-capacity AC power, and standard AC power. The total current level that is being supplied from the power source makes the difference in the rack requirements. Standard I/O racks offer sufficient current to the modules for most applications.
